Gamble House director Edward Bosley led a sneak peek earlier this week inside a couple of the stops on the Arroyo's Edge tour, including the Duncan-Irwin House (1906-08), pictured here. Loved the house, the grounds anytime you can see Doc browns lab from Back to the future is a treat. The pond in the back the landscaping is stunning. The Gamble House in Pasadena is ranked one of ten best houses for design by the Los Angeles Times. Reviewers on Trip Advisor and Yelp give it a solid four and half stars out of five. After visiting, I agree it’s a pretty cool house. It’s gorgeous features like the stained glass door, custom built furniture, wood panels with reliefs, and the Japanese influences inside and out are impressive.
